Kimbel Library subscribes to Films on Demand, or FOD, a film database which gives students and faculty immediate access to over 8,000 films from PBS, CNBC, Frontline, the Royal Opera House, Meridian, National Geographic, Nova and much, much more.
More than 1,750 new films have been added to FOD this spring, including:
- Ken Burns' The National Parks: America’s Best Idea series
- Art 21: Art in the 21st Century series
- The Big Picture – “the official television report by the U.S. Army to its members and to the American people,” produced by the U.S. Army, 1951-1964
- African-American Lives series
- CNBC’s Titans, on America’s titans of business
- Latin Music USA
