Newspapers Online!

Ever fought with microfilm? Need online access to Wall Street Journal? If so, you will be thrilled to learn that Kimbel Library now has even more newspapers online! Three new subscriptions provide full-text access to:

New York Times Historical Archive (1851-2005)
Times (London) Digital Archive (1785-1985)
National Newspaper Core Collection

The Core Collections include full-text (but not full coverage) of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times and Christian Science Monitor from the mid-1980s.

The Archive collections are searchable, scanned images of every page of each paper from their onset – great for primary source material, historic stock prices, and book and theater reviews.

Access these papers from the Indexes page: http://www.coastal.edu/library/indexesdb.html?sortby=General%20and%20Reference
