De-Stress Fest at Kimbel Library

Kimbel Library would like to thank Miller Motte Technical College for participating in this year's Kimbel Library De-Stress Fest. On the Monday of finals week, six massage therapy students from Miller Motte gave 15 minute massages to some very stressed out students. Massages were given in our dimmed instruction room complete with candles and aroma therapy. In addition to the massages, Kimbel Library provided students with free snacks,puzzles, and the materials to make their very own squeeze balls for stress relief. Check out our pictures.

Feeling the stress of Finals? Kimbel Library is here to help.

Who: All Coastal Carolina University students
What: 10 minute massages (first come, first served)
When: Monday, December 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Where: Kimbel Library Room 110

*Massages are provided by Miller Motte Technical College massage therapy students and are FREE OF CHARGE.*

Also, join us next week for the Kimbel Library De-Stress Fest: Sunday through Wednesday 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Give your brain a quick rest and enjoy free snacks while you complete puzzles, play games, and create your very own stress-relieving squeeze ball.

Finals Week Library Hours

"Kimbel Library will be open 24 hours for students during exam week.

On Sunday May 3, the library will open at 1:00 pm and will remain open until Friday May 8 at 5:00 pm.

During the hours of 1:00 am – 7:00 am students will be required to present a valid CINO Card (student ID) for entrance into the library building. The CINO Card Office is open Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Please note that there will be limited services available between 2:00 am and 7:00 am. Computers and study areas will be available. However, there will not be access to laptops, printers, photocopiers, or circulation/reference assistance. JAVA City will be open."
