When is the library open over the break?

The library will be open over the winter break, but hours will be different. Here's a quick overview:

Mon-Wed, December 14th-16th: 7:30 am - 7:00 pm
Thurs, December 17th: 7:30 am - 12:00 noon
Fri, December 18th through Jan 2nd: Closed
Sunday, January 3rd: 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Stay tuned for an announcement of Spring Semester hours. Spring Semester hours will begin on January 4, 2010.

The 1st day of 24/5 is here!

Today is the first day of Kimbel Library's new 24/5 hours!
The library will open at 1:00 pm today and won't close again until 5:00 pm on Friday! After midnight, you will need a CCU ID to be in the building, so don't forget to bring yours with you! You're welcome to wear pajamas if you like!

Temporary Fall Hours

The following are Kimbel Library's temporary Fall hours.

Sunday - 1:00 pm - 2:00 am
Monday - Thursday - 7:30 am - 2:00 am
Friday 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

July 4th Holiday Hours for Kimbel Library

Kimbel Library will close at noon on July 2 and re-open at 1 pm on July 5. Have a great holiday!

Library Closed for Carpet Cleaning

The Library will be closed Sunday, May 24th and Monday, May 25th for carpet cleaning.

Library Hours for May and Summer

Summer hours for the Library are in effect from Sunday, May 10th through Tuesday, August 18th, except as noted below.

Regular Hours:

Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 9:00 pm
Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Exceptions to Regular Hours:

Thursday, July 2nd 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Friday, July 3rd Closed
Saturday, July 4th Closed

Fall hours begin Wednesday, August 19th

Finals Week Library Hours

"Kimbel Library will be open 24 hours for students during exam week.

On Sunday May 3, the library will open at 1:00 pm and will remain open until Friday May 8 at 5:00 pm.

During the hours of 1:00 am – 7:00 am students will be required to present a valid CINO Card (student ID) for entrance into the library building. The CINO Card Office is open Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Please note that there will be limited services available between 2:00 am and 7:00 am. Computers and study areas will be available. However, there will not be access to laptops, printers, photocopiers, or circulation/reference assistance. JAVA City will be open."
